The wife of Kumawood star Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin, Patricia Afriyie, has angrily debunked reports of the actor’s death.
A story seemed to have floated around social media a few days ago claiming Lilwin had died after being involved in an accident.
The story claimed a car struck Lilwin’s around the popular resort Linda Dor on the Accra-Kumasi road, killing him.
However, contacted over the story, Afriyie brushed off the rumour with exasperation.
“My husband is not dead, I don’t know how this whole thing started, Kwadwo is not even in Ghana, he is outside the country.” she said.
“I heard the rumour yesterday so I called his number and we had a long chat…he’s fine.”
The management of the actor/singer has already tackled the story, denying it and threatening legal action against whoever wrote it.
