Bukom Banku was recently interviewed by Nana Aba Anamoah and talked about his one time best friend, Ayittey Powers, describing him as mentally unstable.
According to Banku, the blows he landed on Powers during their two fights has left him mentally disabled.
Banku was responding to Powers’ claim that he (Banku) offered money for the two of them to have gay s*x.
“I believe it’s because he is mentally disabled from the taste of my punch during our bout”, Banku said.
“Me I beat Ayittey powers, Ayittey powers have to respect me. But me I beat Ayittey powers and he is go on social media to insult me”
According to him, Powers’ insults have become too much to the extent that his wife has advised him to stop being friends with him.
“Ayittey Powers is my best friend and we do not joke when there is a bout. Ayittey Powers throws insult at me when on social media to the extent my wife says I should end the friendship between he and I.
“Boxer Michael Ayittey popularly known as Ayittey Powers lacks self-defense in the boxing ring. He is cunning and easily go off with money from people”, Banku continued.
“I respect Bastie a lot than Ayitey Powers. Bastie respects me as a boxer and I do return the same respect as he expects me to give him”.
