Sarkodie and his team alongside legendary highlife star Amakye Dede were involved in an accident on Easter Monday which fortunately resulted in no casualties.
It’s not exactly clear how the accident occurred, with numerous conflicting reports coming from the scene.
However, Sarkodie’s manager Angel Town has sought to clarify what happened in the accident, and according to him, they were hit unawares.
He said on Hitz Fm that they were travelling to Agogo to support Amakye Dede’s concert when the incident happened.
“It was serious; the side of the car that was hit was really damaged. All the airbags were out,” he said on Daybreak Hitz.
“I wish I could tell you what exactly happened but everything happened so fast…we were on our way to support Amakye Dede’s concert and just as we about to turn and head towards Agogo, we were hit. The next thing we realised was that we were in the bush.
“We were travelling with two cars. The one that had Sarkodie, Amakye Dede and two others was the one that ended up in the bush,” he narrated.
Sarkodie has spoken out on the accident and given thanks to God for his life. However, he has also been accused of causing the accident then rushing away without checking on the damage they caused.
