The celebrity weddings are coming down in numbers these days as yet another one went down in the country and this time, Sammy Forson and his beloved sweetheart walked down the aisle.
The veteran radio personality got married to one Pearl Yahaya, his fianceé, at a ceremony held in Bolgatanga, the Upper East Regional Capital.
The couple got engaged earlier this year, we’ve learnt, after Sammy Forson proposed, in church of all places. The proposal occurred on the 21st of April this year at the Fidelity Bank – Spintex Road branch of the Action Chapel.
The traditional marriage ceremony was well attended, with some of those gracing the event including former Interior Minister Mark Wayongo, Lexis Bill and other Multimedia colleagues of Forson.
Sammy is a veteran name in the Ghanaian industry, having formerly served as the manager of rap king Sarkodie. He currently hosts the comedic ‘Weekend City Show’ on Joy Fm.
