Ghanaian actress Irene Opare has revealed that at age 53, she is still enjoying life as a single woman.
According to the movie star in an interview with Joy News, she enjoys the freedom that comes with being single because no man can control her to do things against her wishes.
“I enjoy single life a lot. I eat what I like, I sleep at any time I want and do whatever I like no one to control me even though I don’t know how marriage life would be,” she said.

She also indicated that she is currently not looking forward to marriage but rather companionship.
“I’m looking forward for a relationship not really marriage but a companion. Someone who I can enjoy life with and travel with around the world,” she stated.

The renowned actress has a 21-year-old daughter Fafa with radio presenter Kwami Sefa Kayi.
