MTN Ghana Made A Profit of 350 Million Cedis in First 3 Months of 2020–62 Percent Growth Over 2019 Figure

MTN Ghana has announced it has made a profit of 350 million cedis for the first three months of 2020–which is about 62 per cent growth over the 2019 figure of 215 million cedis for the same period.

The company’s first three months of 2020 revenue which comprises income accruing from both core activities and other services amounted to 1.44 billion cedis–also representing 21% growth compared to the 1.19 billion cedis it made during the same period in 2019.

Apart from the huge revenue and profit increase, MTN’s registered Mobile Money (MoMo) subscribers increased by 6.9% to 15.5 million with active Mobile Money (MoMo) subscribers jumping 9.3 million, a rise of about 2.1%, per a publication by CITI Business News.
