It is sad that even though some God sitting in heaven watching over our boring lives (I am about to go and shower and he will even be watching me) has told believers what he detests and likes, these believers have decided to choose what they want to condemn and what they want to ignore.
Instead of leaving the punishment, condemnation and appraisal to this God, many religious zealots go about pointing fingers, insulting and torturing homosexuals because their holy book is against these minorities.
Few hours ago, Ghanaian actress Nadia Buari decided to celebrate her tattoo which she has been carrying for 13 years—and I just thought I should remind all the dogmatic religious people who descend heavily on other people that, tattooing is also a sin—just like everything else you claim God will punish and burn people for. Who goes about celebrating her sin? Is she not mocking God?
There is no hierarchy of sins so the sins of the homosexual is equal the sin of the liar, and the sin of the thief is also equal the sin of the person carrying a tattoo. Isn’t it?
I think I found a verse for you too;
“Do not cut your bodies for the dead or put tattoo marks on yourselves. I am the LORD”- Leviticus 19:28.
Now are you going to go for Nadia Buari’s head same way you will go for my friend-AkosuaGhana’s head, because she is in a same sex relationship, happy and loving?

Instead they will say evil (I agree with use of evil) but not the DEVIL, some man normally dressed in dark cloth with bull horns.
So if the Church of England is somewhat saying there is no DEVIL, the antagonist then where does that leave God, the protagonist?
Maybe soon, they will replace God with goodness too—and then some of us will back to the church. Of course that will not happen, as the biggest and most profitable business in the world is the church, being run in God’s name. Who wants to lose money?

Also your quote from professor Dawkins is true since most religious people take the ancient scripts literally, then the god of the old testestament is a very angry god. The same bible tells them not to take the bible literally but passa won’t tell them or show them in the bible coz if he does people will start waking up and he or she will lose congregation!

Chris, I know you are an LGBT ally. Advise those in Ghana and Ghanaians abroad to rather worry about their families’ acceptance and love. Society is their least problem. I am saying this because my 11-year daughter is part of an off-Broadway show and her 13-year old co-star is gay. On the day of the premiere his entire family came to support him and after the show they really showered him with love and kisses. This is a Black kid (not Caucasian)…..so again, family acceptance and love is all you need. Stop bothering us (society) with legalization.

I did not read that but I think I know the Dawkins argument from his book-The God Delusion. He does not downplay rape, some people just like to take a shot at him with it. All Dawkins says is; indoctrinating a child and subjecting a child to the emotion torture of hell and all manner of things that religion falsely teaches is far evil than rape. And he says so with a specific example of a woman who wrote to him about having been raped as a child and also having been indoctrinated and scared with all the above. And the woman claims, as she grew, she easily forgave the person who raped her and the rape ordeal became less in impact but the childhood indoctrination and religious torture still has a significant impact on her—worse than the rape.
That is the Dawkins argument but as usual, people take it out of context.
