Deputy Israeli Ambassador To Ghana Says Good Friday Is Not A Special Day Because Jesus Was Not The Messiah

Jesus Christ
The deputy Israeli Ambassador to Ghana, Orli Veitzman, has said that to Jews, Good Friday is just a normal day because Jesus Christ is not the Messiah.
Speaking on Starr Chat Friday morning, Veitzman said that whilst they hold a lot of respect for Christians, Jews believe the Messiah is not yet here, and that Jesus was just a (false) prophet.
“In the Jewish religion, today is not a special day. But we have a lot of respect for Christians.” He told Clegg.
“According to Judaism, we are still waiting for the Messiah to come. For us Jews, we are still waiting for the Messiah. Judaism is based on the Old Testament … There is no account of the miracles that Jesus performed,”
This is a point I feel Christians do not address enough. According to their belief system, the people who originated the religion they eventually hijacked are all going to hell, because no Jew believes in Jesus Christ.
If that isn’t the height of arrogance, then I don’t know what is.

  2. glad to know that “Jews” or “Judaism” does not believe that Jesus Christ is the Messiah, but not Christians. One thing that needs to be recognized is that Judaism is just a religion in Israel, so they can believe what they want and we Christians too do believe that Jesus Christ is the Messiah.
