Nigerian actress Stephanie Linus achieved a significant milestone Monday, when she spoke at the #NotTheCost Conference in New York.
The conference is the effort of the National Democratic Institute, a global call to stop violence against women in politics.
Stephanie Linus was chosen as celebrity brand ambassador for the NDI’s campaign in Nigeria, and thus got the chance to address the conference. Other keynotes included Canadian first lady Sophie Trudeau and former US Secretary of State Madeline Albright.
Stephanie shared a photo on social media of her and Sophie Trudeau after the program.
