Must Dumsor be permanent before Ghanaians are given a timetable around which they will plan their activities?
According to the Public Utilities and Regulatory Commission (PURC), Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) cannot release a load shedding timetable because the current erratic power being experienced by Ghanaians is just a temporary problem.
Opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) has been mounting pressure on government and state agencies to release a dumsor timetable for Ghanaians but the head of Public Affairs at the PURC, Nana Yaa  Juantuah, told Citi Fm that there can only be a timetable when the load shedding prolongs.
It’s pretty shocking that almost three weeks of heavy dumsor is not enough of pain such Ghanaians have to be served with just a load shedding timetable.
