Trade Minister Designate Alan Kyeremanten Loses Sister Involved In Trade Fair Gas Station Explosion

Minister-designate for Trade and Industry and former NPP Presidential aspirant, Alan K. Kyeremanten, has unfortunately lost his sister.

Bridget Darko was one of those injured in the gas station explosion that occurred at the Accra International Trade Fair Centre a few weeks ago.

She had been in critical condition prior but has unfortunately passed away.

Alan Kyeremanten was the only minister designate not present at the first press conference held by President Nana Akufo-Addo Tuesday to announce his first cabinet picks. Nana Addo announced his absence was due to a personal emergency.

An explosion at the Glory Gas filling station near the Trade Fair Centre in La, Accra, led to the death of close to a dozen people, as well as injuries to many others.
