Ghanaians and Nigerians, it seems, are scattered all across the globe looking for easy money. We ‘make wild’ much more than anyone else.

People are arrested and executed in some of these Asian countries for drug trafficking but apparently that’s not deterrent enough.

37 year old Chigozie Francis Christopher, identified as a Ghanaian, has been nabbed by police in India for carrying as much as 11 grams of cocaine on himself, a bust authorities describe as ‘one of the highest’ seized by police in the area so far.

Christopher was arrested in the Indian town of Lobo Lane in Mallikatte Monday, hawking the streets looking for customers for his merchandise.

“[Christopher] came to India on a business visa two years ago and continued to stay in India illegally. In the past few months, he came to the city from Goa a couple of times to sell cocaine to customers here”. police said in a statement concerning the arrest.

Investigations continue to discover his accomplices in the illicit trade.
