Ghana Football Association is likely to be on a Sankofa move to get former Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah back to the job that he was denied to continue after the infamous Brazil fiasco.

Reports by Ghanasportsonline.com says 5 out of the newly constituted 6 member committee tasked to find the Stars a new coach are in favour of Kwesi Appiah’s return.

The Ex-Kotoko player is the first Ghanaian coach to lead the National Senior Team to qualify for a World Cup.

The one time Black Stars captain is currently the head Coach of Sudanese Club Al Khartoum Waatani.

A number of football enthusiasts have been calling for a local coach but whether Kwesi Appiah is the most qualified to appointed by the committee is yet to be confirmed. GFA has also disclosed not to pay the next coach more than $50,000 just as Avram Grant was receiving.
