Live Fm presenter Antoine Mensah, host of Route 919 on the station, has come out to debunk rumours that he’s about to quit the station.
The unverified report came out as a means to bolsters claims of an exodus of talent from the station, but has turned out to be completely unfounded.
Live Fm Presenter Antoine Mensah pranked his boss Bola Ray brilliantly on Tuesday as part of activities marking the third anniversary of Starr Fm.
Bola Ray, CEO of the parent company of both stations, manned the front desk of Starr Fm on the day.
Unlike some years ago, the influx of several radio stations today has made it extremely difficult to follow one particular station or program, even though one is advantaged to choose from several existing options.
In Accra alone, there exist well over 30 radio stations with countless programs; and as such, one cannot listen to all these programs, even if such an individual has all 24 hours to himself and has nothing meaningful to do with his time.

A few months ago, Nathaniel Kwabena Anokye Adisi (Bola Ray) and Kwabena Duffor’s Excellence In Broadcasting (EIB) Networks acquired Accra based radio station-Live 91.9 Fm—and they’ve just not imported pinnacle presenters to the station, the studios have received a complete renovation.
Currently, the radio station houses Kofi Okyere Darko (KOD), Jeremie Van-Garshong, MsNaa, Jay Foley, Sammy Forson, Antoine Mensah and several others—driving the youthful airwaves in a fierce assault on already existing youth friendly brands like YFM…
As part of GhanaCelebrities.Com’s visits to the many EIB Networks, we stopped over at the Live Fm, located at Adabraka, in the same building with sister station-Kasapa 102.3 Fm earlier this week to capture the below photos for you.
While out there, we spoke to D.J Blow ( William Nanka-Bruce III)-the Business Manager of Live Fm about the focus of the station—an opportunity he used to take us through the station’s vision and lined up activities as it attempts to overtake its main competitor.
