Behind the glamour and the stardom of being a celebrity lies the opportunity to help the underprivileged in society. However, not so many Ghanaian celebrities are in tune with this idea of factoring into their fortune, the desire and the need to help others.
3rd February was the birthday of the Ghanaian charming Actor “John Dumelo” and to commemorate this day, he stepped into Baayire, a village which lies 2 hours drive away from Wa in the Upper West Region of Ghana.
At a school in Baayire, John Dumelo made a presentation of books, pencils, pens, erasers, chalks, crayons and others. Also, the Actor shared biscuits and soft drinks with the pupils as part of celebrating his birthday with them.
To crown John Dumelo’s charity work at Wa, he has undertaken to build 5 modern and fully equipped classrooms for the school estimated to cost $40,000. Work on these classrooms is due to commence in 3 months time. GhanaCelebrities.Com says “Congrats John, you are really a star!”

awwwwwww, i feel good anytime someone dose good and ready to help ghana society. if all the rich people in ghana dose things like this, ghana will be somewhere now even done ghana is doing great. if we want ghana to be on a greated hight in this world, then we as the citizens of ghana should also step up and help with the little that GOD as bless us with. we dont have to leave everything in the hands of the government. Ghana citizens can also make some changes in other to help our lovely country to improve.
