Nollywood Actress Mercy Johnson and Prince Odianosen Okojie’s wedding which took place at Christ Embassy Church, Oregun, Ikeja, Lagos over the weekend was heavily manned by 50 Lagos police men. What for? I guess I do not have to answer this question for you.
When you watch your back on your wedding day with such level of police presence then surely you must have gotten some scary ghost in your closet.

Speaking to GhanaCelebrities.Com, the founder of Ghana Movie Awards ‘Mr. Fred Nuamah’ who was with Ghanaian Actor-Majid Michel in Nigeria at the time of the phone conversation said, despite all the controversy leading to the wedding, Mercy Johnson’s wedding is the wedding of the year.
GhanaCelebrities.Com also learnt that, Frank Raja, Yvonne Nelson the chief braidsmaid who was nothing more than ‘Boy Boy’, Majid Michel and Fred Nuamah were the only known Ghanaian Industry faces who managed to make it to the wedding…

@akosuaghana, Mercy is a celebrity and I believe that was the reason for having 50 police at her wedding. As we are aware some people are obsessed with celebrities and will do any thing to get close to them, so the police were there to deter such people from crashing a very private and special moment for her and her groom. It’s not a big deal, North American celebrities do it all the time. If Angelina Jolie ever gets married to Brad, I’m pretty sure there will be very tight security…that don’t necessarily mean she is afraid of Jennifer Aniston coming after her! After all, Angelina did “Snatch” Brad from Jennifer! So if Mercy was afraid of lack of peace on her special day, it was most likely in regards to the general public and not with one particular person.
