GC Reader-Sasha Says Kofi Adjorlolo is a ‘BIG SNUB’ | What Has Your Experience Been LIke With Ghanaian Celebrities?

Kofi Adjorlolo
Kofi Adjorlolo

According to GC reader-Sasha, she bumped into Ghanaian actor-Kofi Adjorlolo in London on Sunday and after trying several times to strike a greeting, Kofi sort of snubbed her—and surely, we think this is unfriendly and ‘uncelebrity’ like…

Some of us will not even bother paying attention to any Ghanaian Celebrity because to be frank, most of them are not worth a minute but if a fan goes the extra mile to call you out politely, giving the person a minute of your time will not take away any money from your pocket as a celebrity.

We’ve heard fans in the past say Nadia Buari, Yvonne Okoro, Yvonne Nelson and Sarkodie have this same sort of stuck-up personality as they treat fans with no respect…

If nothing at all, it is common abroad to pay attention the moment you hear any person speaking Twi or call your local name so well. I occasionally join people’s conversation just because they are speaking Twi and mostly, we end up talking for long. It is just beautiful.

Anyway, check what GC reader-Sasha wrote below and tell us what you think and what your experience has been with any of the Ghanaian celebrities

  1. I’ve also had an unpleasant encounter with this man in London. We share a mutual relation, so while at a gathering the relation was attempting to introduce me to him. He was not at all interested, in fact he was very dismissive. And instead made some comment about my parents which was in poor taste and and very classless. I was shocked by his rudeness.

  3. I met Yvonne Okoro at Golden Tulip when I was there to meet a friend and when I tried speaking to her, she just looked at me like a tree and walked off. Immediately I saw her and her friend turn back to look at me and laugh as if I have stolen something.

Now i have every reason to believe she was used and trashed like a tin of milk. She needs to get real and stop her fake things, gc cannot condone a spoil and uncivilized bitch like you.

  7. Well, I’ve never met any Ghanaian celebrity before but, I happen to bump into 50 cent at Newark Liberty International Airport and boy, that guy is a snobbish. He had body guards all around him, refused to sign autograph. Very arrogant and rude. Several weeks later, I met Busta rhymes at the same Airport and he was completely different. He signed autographs, chatted and took pictures with the fans. Overall he is nicer than 50.

Yvonne okoro isn’t that friendly so people should pass whenever they see her. Met sandra and to surprise any of you, she rather said hello to all of us at the restaurant.

    • Maybe she has insecurity issues or is very shy. You know sometimes that is mistaken for being snobbish. But kudos to Yvonne Nelson. Met AMA K at a wedding and she was quite rude to my mom and I but sometimes you never know- they might not realise what they are doing

      Reply
      • Yes i heard about Ama k’s she’s also another snobbish. at least she could have showed some love to your mom. We the viewers are what makes them what they are now. Yvonne nelson is not that bad. Okoro disappointed me.

  13. Most of the Ghanaian so called ”celebrities” or public figures of today are disrespectful and uncivilized to the highest degree hence the continuous bashing and harsh criticism given them on various social-media platforms. This article should serve as a lesson to the likes of juliet ibrahim, joselyn dumas, okoro and others who mostly show a gross lack of respect towards the people they deem unworthy. Forgetting how strong of an impact they have on the youth with that kind atitude as role models we can safely assume that the next crop of ”celebs” are going to undoubtedly carry on tradition and do even worse.

  21. Yvonne Nelson isn’t what the media portrays her to be. I’ve met her couple of times and she’s a gem. The girl can be funny yo, Jackie is another down to earth girl who talks with lots of humility. I have met John, majid and prince and they all seems lovely. Joycelyn is one funny woman who loves to entertain her fans, met her twice in ghana around christmas. Partying with her is always fun. I think kofi adjorlolo should write a letter of apology to Sasha on how he reacted.

    • I also met YN back in the days, 08 to be precise and she was really sweet. I don’t know about now but I am sure she is still the same sweet girl. As for Okoro the least said about her the better. Saw her at the mall two years ago and she pretended not to even remember me eventhough I was her school daughter way back in Syte. And for those of you who would say I may have changed in looks, trust me I have not changed one bit. I guess it is something with her since almost everyone here who has met her is complaining. Since that experience I have vowed never to even say hello or so much as to smile when I see any gh celeb. Saw Samini at Movenpick some months ago and I just walked on but I think he is a nice person cuz he looked approachable .

          • Why would I make up such a story????? this was just to prove the kind of people we have as celebrities and it’s not like people know me on her for them to start giving me recognition for my lies. Kindly back off if you have nothing sensible to say!!!!!!! and for those of you who went to syte would know Y.O finished in 2003, she was mostly found in scotton house where her friends are. I don’t even have to prove myself to people like you.

          • Don’t worry i have handled her, we believe your story. Next time her fake body attacks anyone in here she would smell the word pepper to the highest degree.

          • shut the hell up, are you not the same liar who claims dumelo sent you his n*dity and later said you deleted it? who lies on here more than your dumb a**? Why would someone make up a story like this up. You are a confuse chic who likes to talk rubbish in here. As adoma mentioned above if you are included in his list then spill it and stop and stop grudges. Now you should be labled as a new liar and fake biatchh in here.

      • Joselyn is only friendly if she thinks you are off a certain standard or of benefit to her. She is judgemental and a big snub on most occasions. I met her personally at red ginger in east legon, we tried to say a simple hello and she did not even smile back. I was appalled but not surprised

Nuong Faalong on the kokrobite road one Sunday morning. I was with 3 kids and she gave us a lift to the junction. I was looking at her face so much and said she was familiar then she said yes and mentioned her name. She was chatting and joking with us. When I got down, I could only tell her God bless her some celebs don’t pick anybody in their cars. her English too is so clean I was shy of mine.
