Akua Donkor continues to hog the headlines with her unorthodox means of tackling issues.

She recently called her own people, the Ashantis, as the originators of evil. She also has several other moments of absolute hilarity.

This time though, she might end up laughing at the wrong side of her mouth. According to a 70 year old retired teacher, the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP) founder has defrauded him to the tune of Ghc 25,000.

The aggrieved man, Opanin Kwaku Duah- speaking on Nhyira FM in Kumasi, claimed the two of them agreed on the sum for Akua Donkor to sell a cocoa farm to him.

However, after paying the two sums in instalments of Ghc 10,000 and Ghc 15,000, for which he only received a receipt for the first amount; he claims Akua Donkor started tossing him around.

“She first gave me a receipt covering the first installment of 100 million [10,000 Ghana cedis], she then decided to give me a receipt covering the remaining 150 million [150 Ghana cedis] when she returns from a trip to Accra” Opanin Duah said

Opanin Duah said he never got that receipt, and that he even went to see an Uncle’s of hers to help in the deal, but got no proper reply from there as well.

“However, when I asked his uncle called Badu about the cocoa farm, he denied ever giving the said cocoa farm to Akua Donkor and hence instructed me to go and collect my money from her” Opanin Duah added.

When contacted, the politician showed irritation; refusing to comment on the issue.
