Ghanaian comical boxer-Braimah Kamoko popularly known as Bukom Banku has threatened to sue the CEO of Black Avenue Sports-D-Black, for failing to pay him an agreed GHC100,000 for the ‘Repeat or Revenege’ boxing match which took place in Kumasi late last year.
According to Bukom Banku, instead of the promised GHC1000,000, D-Black handed to give him just 25,000 GHS after the fight and up to date, the balance has not been paid.
Also, though the promised Range Rover has been given to him, a trip to South Africa which was part of the winning package has not yet been honored.
Banku is reported to have told Dr. Pounds on Accra based Hitz Fm that;
“If somebody said he has given me GHc100,000, the person should show his face. After the fight, D-Black gave me only GHc25,000. Nobody gave me GHc100,000, they gave me only the range rover.”
He added; “I swear by the Holy Qur’an. If there is any lawyer out there who can help me sue D Black and Joy Daddy, the person should please come to my rescue.”
Currently, Bukom Banku says he is looking for a lawyer to sue D-Black and Joy Dadi, the promoters and organisers of the boxing match.
