Okyeame Kwame, mired in a strong push to raise money for Ghana’s paralympic team, Tuesday morning took time to render an apology to TV3 for failing to turn up for a scheduled tv appearance.
The rap doctor was scheduled to appear on TV3’s flagship New Day last week, but failed to make the date due to his commitment to charity, attempting to raise $40,000 for the Ghana Paralympic Team (the disabled) to aid their qualifications effort to this year’s Olympic Games.
In an apology first filmed on his social media page and later delivered to the station, Kwame apologised to the New Day crew for his absence on the show.
His apology was so exhaustive, it even featured a cake.
Check out Okyeame Kwame’s TV3 apology below, which is obviously also aimed at helping him gain more publicity for his plan to raise money for the national team. He has approximately raised $10,000 out of the $40,000 needed.
