Nigerian singer Davido has congratulated his rapidly rising compatriot Wizkid, for his collaboration with Drake on his new album, ‘Views’.
The Canadian rapper/singer worked with Wizkid on ‘One Dance’, a song which made the cut for the final album, and on which Drake recognised the ‘Ojuelegba’ singer as a co-producer.
In a shout out to Wiz on Facebook, he paid tribute to him for the accomplishment, accompanied by a photo of the two of them lounging together on a plane.
“BIG MAN!! Wizkid on VIEWS!!!!!! PROUD OF YOU MY BROTHER!! ONLY IF THEY KNEW WHAT WE GOT COMING!! ???????” he wrote.
The two are certainly two of Naija’s hottest right now, and definitely have a contentious history- so whatever they got cooking, they better come out with it fast.
Drake’s ‘Views’, his fourth studio album, was released Friday, and is available on iTunes.
