Jayso featured prominently on ‘Bossy’ the one Sarkodie song that set off the current separate beefs on the local music scene, and he later released a track seemingly targeting M.anifest for being a sell-out; yet he says beefing is not part of his brand.
The singer/songwriter and producer made an appearance on JoyNews, where he explained to MzGee that beefing is not something that’s a part of his brand.
“I would not jump on a song that has Sark or anybody dissing any other person.” he said.
“It is against my brand, it is against what I do. I can understand if it is the same old subliminal shots that everyone has been taking since rap started.”
Jayso added that he is actually one of the producers on M.anifest’s upcoming album – indicating he has worked directly with the three top feuding artists right now – E.L, Sarkodie and M.anifest.
