Former first lady and presidential candidate for the National Democratic Party (NDP), Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings has nominated one Michael Sosu as her running mate .
Her decision is an attempt to influence the youth on their votes since they make majority of the voting population adding that he is himself a Voltarian so it would otherwise influence votes in that region.
This she disclosed on Thursday after filing her nominations in the upcoming December polls. She was disqualified in 2014 after failing to completely fill her nominations forms.
12 political parties have so far filed their nomination forms to contest the upcoming elections. The 12 parties include the NPP, NDC, PPP, UPP, UFP, GCPP and the GFP.
