Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari has reported written to the National Assembly to extend his leave–for a period being described on social media as indefinitely.

President Buhari took a 10-day vacation to the United Kingdom for a medical check-up and he was due to return to Nigeria on 6th January–which he extended and has once again sought to extend.

Over the last few weeks, they’ve been internet rumours that President Buhari had died while receiving medical treatment in the United Kingdom–his media aides in Nigeria have denied the reports.

Following new development of Buhari’s indefinitely leave, Nigerians on social media have gone GAGA–amidst throwing into the cyberspace hilarious comments.
