Awurade B3gye Steer No to aid Kofi Kinaata drive out thoughts of fans who think the Fante Rapper drinks alcohol and his super hit song “confessions” is directly influenced by his experience.
Else if not by any sort of divine intervention, it will take the ‘ribs of an ant‘ to convince anyone who listens to ‘confessions’ to believe Kofi Kinaata wrote it out of pure imagery and craft.
The High Grade Family signed rapper talking to KMJ on Hitz Fm’s Daybreak Hitz, used the platform to debunk any suspicion that as slim as he his, that he could easily be perceived as a drunkard, his life is nowhere near bottles though ‘confessions‘ seemed to have been written with a beer bottle in his wasted hand.
He said “The song has got nothing to do with my life experience. I don’t even drink alcohol so it couldn’t be about me.”
Martin King Arthur who is the reigning VGMAs songwriter of the year revealed that the song was ready 2016 but was shelved for a while to be released after the election tension calms and that gave them enough time to finesse the song to make it this good.
Kofi Kinaata has filed the song for this year’s VGMAs and quite hopeful to win though he stated he doesn’t write songs for awards but for his fans to relate to it.
