Hackers have breached the servers of U.S cable network Home Box Office (HBO), making off with episodes of some popular tv shows which have been leaked online.
The leaks include episodes of the shows ‘Ballers’ and ‘Room 104’, as well as a script from the upcoming 4th episode of the 7th season of the network’s flagship program – Game of Thrones.
The hackers claimed they made off with over 1.5 terabytes of data.
Cyber attacks of such sort are on the rise in this computerised world, with HBO itself suffering a similar attack during the airing of season 5.
Thankfully, no episodes of season 7 has been leaked yet, although the script is out there.
