The local movie industry is ‘dead’, no doubts about and as usual it has been the blame game played in this country whenever something goes wrong. Plans to revamp the dying movie industry has not been suggested by anybody, they keep landing the blames on the doorsteps of people.
Now controversial TV personality, Deloris Frimpong Manso, aka Delay has also joined the many Ghanaians blaming without suggesting solutions to wake the ‘dead’ movie industry. Delay has attributed kumawood’s fall to the absence of veteran and experienced actress Kyeiwaa.
According to Delay, madam Kyeiwaa is talented and possesses some unique qualities which other Kumawood actresses can only dream of. She added that Kyeiwaa has left a huge gap which cannot be filled with any other actress.
Delay who was speaking about a picture she saw of Kyeiwaa and Kwaku Manu in the United States of America said she has a feeling Kyeiwaa is not happy currently and that she should come back to the country to do what she knows how to do best.
Kyeiwaa left Ghana to the United States after her marriage collapsed, the marriage actually lasted for a few hours.
Madam Kyeiwaa might have experienced a heartbreak hence her long stay in the United States of America.
