UK based Ghanaian hip-life artiste Reggie Zippy of Reggie ‘N’ Bollie fame has described Ghanaian artistes as very selfish and backwards unlike how Nigerian artistes have been doing.
He stated that Ghanaian artistes, when given some little opportunity by Nigerians to perform at their shows, come back and start making unnecessary noise dissing their fellow artistes instead of working together as a team.
Reggie made this comment during a Facebook discussion on the need to make Ghana entertainment Industry grow.
He posted;
“you remember our chat a few months ago when I told you the Nigerians are conquering UK and other parts of the world through their entertainment and it’s a well calculated effort n plan.
“Ghanaian artists n the industry are stuck in their own clueless ways. There’s a serious movement happening around the world for African music which is proudly being controlled by the Nigerians cuz they’re smart n united.
“Smh for Ghana cuz we’re so far behind n selfish, when they put one or two Ghanaian artists on their shows, these same Ghanaian artists will go back to Ghana n disturb their colleagues that they’re going international. kmt Let me rest it here”.
