Patapeezy the ‘One Corner’ hitmaker has responded to his critics who say his music has no genre by creating an entire new genre for the type of music he makes.
Since coming onto the scene, Patapaa’s music has been ridiculed, some dubbing it ‘asorkpor’ whilst others, such as Kuami Eugene, say it’s nothing but noise.
However, according to the man himself, he has invented a new genre of music for himself.

According to him, his style of music is known as ‘highlife asorkpor’.
It’s a fusing of highlife with traditional dance music, the singer, real name Justice Amoah, explained in an interview on Adom TV.
