Afrobeats star Fuse ODG has revealed how he keeps his peace of mind as a celebrity in an environment of such social media saturation.

Fuse has revealed that he keeps his private life off social media which enables him to escape a lot of the scandal and attention which are piled up on other celebrities who air everything about their lives in public.

Fuse revealed in an interview with the Graphic Showbiz: “Social media is for the public and it is only my public side that they have to know which is what I am known for, what they patronise, projects that involve them, my music and anything related to my acts so there is no need putting my private life out here,”

“What this does is that, it does not put unnecessary pressure on me, I do not worry about some things. The expectations of me are not much so even if I’m not able to meet them, it is no big deal.

“This helps you in overcoming depression because you have little or nothing to worry about, I have my peace of mind and that is what matters and I will not trade it for anything. Rather, it is when you put everything about you, the car you drive, the mansion you have that you will get people come at you if you lose them,” he added.

Fuse said even though he’s dating, he would not reveal who the lady is and has no intention of exposing her to the public via social media. A lesson that Efia Odo is now painfully learning is one Fuse has long assimilated.
