A female Zimbabwean politician has landed in some hot soup after a n*de photo of her leaked on whatsapp and was circulated all over social media in the country.
Farai Mageva, the Deputy Mayor Councillor in Kariba, sent the photo on WhatsApp but it was intercepted and then plastered all over social media.
The photo shows her t*pless, with no item of clothing on her upper torso except a necklace around her neck.
After the photo was leaked, it was alleged that she was sending it to her lover, leading to irate residents in her district to call on her to apologize.
However, Mageva has refused to apologize, insisting the photo was not meant for her lover. According to her, she had a heart problem and took the photo for a family whatsapp group to show them her ailment.
“The photographs were of me and destined to a family group although they leaked into an MDC WhatsApp group. I have been receiving calls from various people including journalists, but the truth is that the photographs were to show that my heart is swelling.” she said.
