It’s not every day that a Ghanaian artist gets the chance to work with multiple Grammy award winning star Nicki Minaj.
The Trinidad born Onika Tanya Maraj has heaped praises on Nana Fofie, a Ghanaian artist based in the Netherlands, who has joined the ongoing Nicki Minaj world tour.
Nana Fofie creates unique mashups of songs and one she did caught the attention of Nicki, who got in touch with her to plan a working relationship.
The Ghanaian thus joined Nicki for her world tour, a fact she excitedly posted on social media and which elicited a response from Nicki.
“I wish that i could have this moment for life.” Dear @nickiminaj thank you for a life changing moment and opening all these doors. You are so sweet and genuine such an inspiration. I’ll take your loving words on board and i’ll never forget what you said…thankin you aint enough!!! #nickiwrldtour,” Fofie tweeted.
That brought out a response from Nicki, who wrote; “Thank you for performing, my love. Wishing you all the best. So TALENTED,”
