Reverend Owusu Bempah is known for his numerous criticisms on the opposition NDC party and his strong support for Nana Addo and his NPP led government.
According to Reverend Owusu Bempah in an interview, nothing on earth can push or convince him to join the NDC unless he has instructed by his Heavenly father.
He noted that even though people see him as a Member of NPP but the truth is he is not a member of any political party but rather just a messenger of God, he has no right to stand against the words of God.

“Sometimes I used to pray for NDC. God has used me and prophesied for them to win elections in this country and came to government.”
He added that; “Those times they came and took me to Abokobi where we fasted and prayed and they won the election…that time I was not an NDC Man of God but when God revealed to me something that did not favour them I have become an enemy to the NDC. Not all NDC members hate me, some of them hate me”, he said.
