Former Sarkcess music signee, Strongman Burner has revealed on the Delay Show that he didn’t join Sarkodie’s record label because of money.
According to the young rapper, he wanted to use Sarkodie’s already established brand to build his own record label, “Strong Empire”.
“Going into this contract, I wasn’t looking at the money aspect, I didn’t sign for Sarkodie because I wanted money from him. I signed unto his label so that I can use his already existing brand to also build my Strong Empire Brand so that tomorrow when I’m no more with him, I know that I have a strong brand to carry me along, and it’s working so far for me’
Asked whether there was any misunderstanding between him and Sarkodie, Strongman answered; “No, personally Sarkodie and I have no disagreement of a sort. It’s the media who made it seemed like something bad in terms of relationship-wise was happening between us but everything was cool.’
