Kumawood young actress Maame Serwaa has expressed disdain on body-shaming her.
The actress has been in the news for bloating and looking way older than her age a couple of times.
Such kind of statements according to Maame Serwaa makes her feel bad and she wants Ghanaians to stop it.

She has disclosed that there is nothing she can do about her weight because she inherited it from her grandmother.
‘All of my grandmother’s female grandchildren have large breasts. Our mothers don’t have, but we the grandchildren have it, very large ones unless you are a male’. She said in an interview.
She has therefore pleaded with Ghanaians to desist from body-shaming her because that makes her feel bad, noting that Ghanaians will as well complain should she undergo surgery to reduce her weight.
‘Do they want me to cut off my breasts? Even if I should do that this same people would complain, Ghanaians should appreciate someone when the person is alive, not only when the person dies.
‘If you complain about someone’s weight one, two, three times, and there is no improvement, keep quiet. You don’t know what the person might be going through.’
