Kofi Kinaata is giving credit where it is due— according to the Things Fall Apart hitmaker, it was after he was on Adom FM’s Kasahari show that he actually hit the limelight and became today’s Kinaata.

Kinaata recounts how everyone that came on the show the very day he was on too— he says any other person rapped in Twi and when it got to him, he blew their minds with his typical Fanti and by the close of the show, the premises were filled up with everyone wanting to see this person who could rap this much in the Fanti dialect.

“I was on the ‘Kasahari’ show. Everyone was rapping in Twi. I rapped in typical Fante. When I was done, Adom FM’s premises were crowded. People wanted to see who was doing the rap in the studio,” he told host Osei Bonsu”
