The massive campaign of patronizing locally produced rice is ongoing on social media.
This initiative was launched by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of OmniMedia, operators of Citi FM and Citi TV, Samuel Attah-Mensah.
It went viral after he shared on social media how some farmers in the Northern Region are not able to sell their rice because of the imported ones.

This has got some people talking and musician and politician, Kwame A-Plus has come out with an idea to use in selling the local rice.
He posted on his Instagram page indicating that Ghanaians will only buy local rice if it can boost their sexual performance.
‘If you want Ghanaians to buy our local rice, just tell them it can boost sexual performance and boom you’re in business,” he wrote.

Adding; ‘So please eat local rice to boost your sexual performance. Ass enlargement. Breast firming. Improved fertility. Thank you!!!”
