Ghanaian actor and politician John Dumelo has disclosed the reason why he pulled down his comments on polygamy.

According to him, his comments was supposed to be in a question form but realized it was a statement after posting it.

Speaking in an interview on Joy FM’s Cosmopolitan Mix, he said his wife showed him her ‘ayibge’ side after posting the comment even though he showed it to her before posting.

“Before I shared the post, I showed it to my wife and told her I was going to post it. She was aware of it but as expected, she dealt with me later on at home. She showed me her typical ‘ayigbe’ woman side,” he said.

The actor made this comment earlier this week that both men and women should be allowed to marry more than one and was trending with a lot of people supporting his comment.
