The father of Swedru-based singer Patapaa has revealed that his son was not poisoned as the media is throwing around.

He says Patapaa has been under the weather for a while now and only worsened yesterday.

Speaking in an interview with Adomonline, he said;

“It is not poison, he is sick. It is not confirmed but he has not been well for almost two weeks now. He was even supposed to be in Accra.”

“It is a small hospital and he went there for first aid. He couldn’t even drive. Though there is a government hospital, people don’t like going there.”

Yesterday, news broke that Patapaa was battling for his life after he was poisoned.
