UTV Ghana presenter and legendary Ghanaian comic actor Akwasi Boadi Akrobeto has finally added his voice to the trending LGBT debate ongoing in Ghana.
As expected of an old and traditional Ghanaian man, Akrobeto is completely against the idea of the practice of LGBTQI in Ghana.
According to him, it’s highly unnatural for a man to sleep with a man and for a woman to sleep with a woman.
Speaking on his show ‘The Real News’ on UTV, Akrobeto gave praise to the late President John Atta-Mills for forcefully standing against gay rights.

During his time in power, Mills said that Ghana would never accept LGBT and if that loses the country foreign aid then so be it.
Akufo-Addo on the other hand when asked about it in a foreign interview said that it is ‘bound to happen’ in Ghana.
He has recently come to disown those comments as Ghanaians have vehemently stood against the issue but there’s no doubt he couldn’t condemn it when with white people.
Akrobeto showering praise on Mills when Nana is the current President, when compared to their two stances on the issue, makes it clear that his comment could be a shade at Nana to more forcefully reject the notion like Mills did.
