Ghanaian journalist Manasseh Azure Awuni has finally revealed why he can never attack Mensa Otabil in his life, even if the ICGC founder does something wrong.
According to him, there are certain people in his life that he can never attack no matter what.
Essentially, he’s admitting that he’s as biased as any other human being, although he’s tried to deny that in the past.

Manasseh was facing huge pressure from Ghanaians after investigating Bishop Dag Heward Mills of Lighthouse Chapel and revealing how he maltreats his pastors.
People wanted to know why he has never investigated his mentor, Dr Mensa Otabil. Manasseh also went into hiding a few years back when the bank collapse saga happened and Mensa Otabil’s Capital Bank was accused of squandering Ghc 610m.

He has finally spoken out and says he doesn’t want to disappoint Otabil so there’s no way he can ever run an expose on him.
“There are people in our lives that you don’t go out to attack them after the story has been told because of the relationship you have with them. I don’t want such people to be disappointed in me because they didn’t expect certain comments from me. If you cannot defend them, the best thing is to keep quiet so I didn’t find calls to speak about Otabil a wise thing to do. “
“In journalism, there are two things; the news and opinions but sometimes when the news is presented, you can give opinions. When Otabil’s issue came, the news was reported and there were no opinions likewise the lighthouse stories. I want to put on record that I will never come out to give any opinion.”
“When the DKM, Duffuor, Kofi Amoabenh and the other banks collapsed, nobody called me to comment so why were they mounting pressure and condemning me for not saying anything.”
