Cristiano Ronaldo has announced today that his partner Georgina Rodriguez is expecting another set of twins.
The 37 year old Manchester United football player is going to be a father of six children soon.
CR7 took to his Instagram page to expresse his happiness over his new babies.
The five- time Ballon door winner shared a photo of the couple posing with two sonograms which captures the babies.
He wrote in the caption, “Delighted to announce we are expecting twins,” they both captioned their matching posts. “Our hearts are full of love – we can’t wait to meet you #blessed.”
Not only will the babies be the fifth and sixth children to join the athlete’s family, they are also his second set of twins.
Ronaldo met his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez while she was working as a sales assistant in a Gucci store.
The soccer star first became a father in 2010 when he welcomed his son Cristiano Jr. who is 11 years old.
He announced on social media at the time that, “With the agreement of the mother, who wishes to remain anonymous, I will have exclusive custody of my son”.
In June 2017, Ronaldo confirmed he welcomed his twin son and daughter, Mateo and Eva, who are both 4.
No information is available on the mother of the twins and it has been widely reported that the twins were welcomed through surrogacy.
The athlete confirmed a month later that Georgina was pregnant with her first child. In November 2017, she gave birth to their first child together, daughter Alana, who is now 3 years.
This will be the second birth for Georgina and her third kids while CR7 will be a father of 6.
A video which went viral later last month captured Georgina telling the press in an interview that she hopes the football icon pops the big question soon and makes her a legal wife.
