Former Black Stars winger Christian Atsu has found himself in quite a spot of bother – a building collapsed on him during an earthquake in Turkey!
A massive earthquake occurred in Turkey earlier today, according to multiple reports.
Surprisingly, Christian Atsu has been named as one of those trapped under the rubble of collapsed buildings.

Atsu, who plays for Hatayspor in Turkey, is among thousands of people left under the rubble of Monday morning’s devastating earthquake in that country.
Multiple news sources tweeted Monday: “Hatayspor forward Cristian Atsu and director Taner Savut have been left under the rubble after the earthquake in Türkiye. Search and rescue teams are looking them now,”
The former Black Stars winger played for his club over the weekend in a league match against Kasimpasa, scoring the only goal.
Atsu played for Newcastle, Chelsea and Porto in a storied career. He won 65 caps for Ghana, scoring 12 goals.
Two earthquakes struck south-eastern Turkey early Monday, near the country’s border with Syria.

The US Geological Survey said the 7.8 magnitude tremor struck at 04:17 local time (01:17 GMT) at a depth of 17.9km (11 miles) near the city of Gaziantep.
Hours later, a second quake, which had a magnitude of 7.5, hit the Elbistan district of Kahramanmaras province.
So far, close to 1,500 are reported dead in Turkey and Syria – mostly killed whilst sleeping and leaving many others trapped.
