A 22-year-old young man, Alister John has been arrested for allegedly murdering a Ghanaian lady called Afia Ahenkan.

The incident happened on Monday, September 11th at the residence of the deceased at Ampayoo in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.

According to reports, the house boy of the deceased Afia Ahenkan killed her and took to his heels with her car.

The police later discovered her lifeless body in her garage.

Alister John was arrested yesterday after the police hunted for him.

Speaking in an interview, the family of the deceased revealed the bedroom of the house boy.

He was sleeping in a boy’s quarters with his private toilet and bath.

The place looks neat and very decent to live in.

According to the family, Afia Ahenkan was a kind-hearted person and treated the house boy well so they cannot understand why he killed her.

The family (Ahenkan’s siblings) also disclosed that their mother is dead and yet to be buried.

According to them, Ahenkan was the breadwinner of the family and was seeing to it that their mother got a befitting burial.

They went on to plead with the police and the government to ensure that justice is served.
