Ghanaian reggae dancehall artist Flexer Gh has called for Sarkodie to be immortalised for his contributions to Ghana music.
According to Flexer Gh, the ‘Country Side’ hitmaker deserves to have a statue built in his honour to acknowledge his stellar career.
Flexer Gh made the claim during an appearance on Zylofon Fm with Sammy Flex.
According to him, Sarkodie has done so much for Ghana music and is not celebrated enough.
Flexer sighted an example of what he sees when he travels outside the country which highlights Sarkodie’s massive impact in promoting Ghana music all across the globe.
He said that based on that alone, he deserves to be immortalised with a statue that will endure through the generations.
Sarkodie’s impact on Ghana music cannot be denied with him being one of the most awarded African acts of all time.
