Social media users have descended on Ghanaian celebrities over their callous indifference towards the plight of their colleague, Moesha Boduong.
Moesha is currently in a coma and needs $10,000 to cover some of her expenses, leading her brother to set up a Gofundme to raise the cash she needs.
Up to this point, the fundraiser has been slow-going, and celebrities have largely refused to help Moesha out.
Afia Schwarzenegger mocked her rather than giving any help, and others are sharing the link to help the fundraiser get more visibility.
However, social media users are dragging them for expecting suffering Ghanaians to pay for Moesha’s bills when other celebs could easily come together and help her out.
After Efya Nokturnal shared the fundraiser, a social media user came out with a list of celebs who could easily raise $10,000 in a second!
The netizen wrote: “The following celebs can take care of the cost simply: Delay=$3k, Jackie Appiah = $4k, McBrown $2k, Efia Odo $500, Hajia Bintu $300, Akuapem $100and lastly Pamela Odame $100…making $10k. So you guys should leave we the broke guys alone and go to these celebs,”
