U.S-based Ghanaian freedom fighter, Twene Jonas has mercilessly insulted Ashantihene Otumfour Osei Tutu over his desire to celebrate 150 years Sagrenti war after recollecting Ashanti relics from the British.
According to Jonas, Otumfour is incompetent and has not been able to stop galamsey in the Ashanti region but he wants to celebrate recollecting relics.
Jonas mentioned that Chairman Wontumi is largely involved in galamsey in the Ashanti region and it’s affecting the livelihood of the people, yet Otumfour cannot deal with him.
He also mentioned that President Akufo-Addo and his Vice Dr Bawumia have done nothing to develop the Ashanti region and still Otumfour entertains them.
Twene Jonas went on to insult Otumfour for lifting his shoulders as a powerful king.
According to him, Otumfour wouldn’t be celebrating the Sagrenti war if his forefathers were weak.
