Ghanaian female dancehall artiste cum gospel preacher, Mercy Onuawonto Sam, popularly known as Iona Reine has issued a word of caution to cross-dressers in Ghana.
According to her, the young men who dress up as women for comedy will end up in hell if they continue.
Iona added that the Bible is against men and women who dress in the opposite sex for entertainment.
She added that the men who keep dressing like women will end up in hell if they don’t change their ways.
The current crop of comedians in Ghana are bunch of men dressing like women. They tend to act how women go about their daily activities. While some are purely comical and innocent, others tend to misrepresent women offensively.
The majority of such comedians post their craft on TikTok to gain more likes.
Anyway, reacting to this, Iona feels they have to be stopped with immediate effect before they start to influence kids with their antics.
