GUBA Awards will be hosting a two-day Expo this Friday the 7th and Saturday the 8th of November 2014, at the Charlton Athletic Football Club (The Valley, Floyd Road, Charlton, SE7 8BL). The Expo is scheduled to take place from 9am to 6pm for both days.

The GUBA Expo will be a two-part business centred event, with each day dedicated to specific areas of business growth. The premise of the GUBA Expo is to equip businesses with knowledge, procurement insights and supply procedures for multinational companies in the UK. A dialogue will be open between exhibitors, buyers and attendees, creating a platform for buyers to connect and offer investment prospects for exhibitors.

The GUBA Expo will be centred on connecting Small and Medium-sized African businesses (SMBs) seeking to establish their products in the British mainstream market. These SMBs will gain access to industry experts who will share knowledge and advice on achieving industry-set benchmarks. The event will also feature exhibitions, networking and invaluable workshops.

The objective to increase trade between the UK and Africa to bring about economic change for Africa and the UK, has garnered support from like-minded dignitaries and businesses. The Ghana Minister of Tourism- Hon Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare has rendered her support for the GUBA Expo. Observing the impact SMBs have on the economy and tourism opportunities in Ghana, the Honourable Minister will be attending the expo to interact and view the products on offer, and urge for more Ghana-made products.
