With FIFA President-Sepp Blatter having been provisionally suspended for 90 days by the body’s ethics committee as investigations into an alleged bribe continues—it has been announced that Issa Hayatou will serve as Acting President of FIFA, the world football governing association.
Mr Hayatou is the longest-serving vice-president on Fifa’s Executive Committee, and therefore he seems like the perfect fit for the interim job.
